We've been home for almost 2 weeks now, and it seems like we got back yesterday. We hit the ground running and have just now started to slow down and ease back into life here in the states. But alot is different. After waiting 2 1/2 years to return to S. Asia a fire is now lit in our souls that we are told in 1Thess 5:19 not to quench. So that fire consumes us, drives us mad, and pushes us forward, always desperate to praise our Father and honor Him through our obedience daily. We feel hungry and thirsty to the point of starvation, and consumed to the point of madness, for our G0d is a raging fire and salvation for the lost, getting hope to the hopeless has become our one and only desire.
We ask for pr@yers, we ask for partners, and we ask for help. It's not just S. Asia. It's the world. We have a tug on our heart for the people we lived with for those 11 days most definitely G0d has placed them as a focus in our lives that way may pour ourselves out for them. But our Father loves not only one nation but all, He bled for not one race, but all. He LIVES and LOVES not one area, but the world. For our names are written on the palms of His hands. And so as Sean and I seek to be created into the image of our Saviour we watch as He molds our hearts souls and minds making us desperate for EVERY nation tribe and tongue to come to know the HOPE of our salvation!
Our desire next year is to go on three international trips. That sounds insane, and it is - but our G0d never called us to be sane, simply to be abandoned to His purposes. Please pr@y first of all for the time, that jobs and necessary work wouldn't get in the way of our calling. As it stands my vacation time wouldn't even be saved up for another trip like this one for another year and a half. Secondly pr@y for finances, we're still amazed that we were able to afford this trip and how it all came together, but 3 trips seems impossible from a financial standpoint - but the G0d we serve is the G0d of impossibilities!
